Sutter Health
My experience at Sutter helped elevate me as field expert for data analytics, length of stay, readmissions, revenue cycle, MCR guidelines, hospital throughput, crisis management, quality reporting and behavioral health management. This was all due in part to the many great leaders that mentored me.
Dignity Health
I attribute my leadership journey to one woman, Joan Hart. She saw my leadership potential and not only mentored me, but helped me land my first leadership job. "Najia is an emerging leader that understands the need for change in the healthcare if the goal is to improve outcome". J.H.
NorthBay Health
I recognized my leadership super power is helping departments excel by stabalizing & standardizing through engagement, training and mentoring novice leaders.
Thanks to a very supportive executive team at N0rthbay Health, I was exposed to change management initiatives which lead to successful adoptation of best practices.
Tenet
During my time at Tenet I learned to influence change by modeling the behavior in my own practice. I had to learn how to build and maintain relationships to establish status as an emerging leader. It was difficult to navigate without a mentor when I encountered challenges from leaders, peers and my staff. Reflecting back I can see that overcoming those challenges helped me grow in a way that is not taught in classrooms.
" Najia actively partners with key stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and support organizational metrics. She met her target for reaching target for excess hospital days within 6 months". T.D.
